Aesthetically Aware

by Alyson Stanfield on June 23, 2005

Finally! A trend that favors art and design.

A recent article in Multi-Housing News cites developers in California, Denver, Florida, and New York that are featuring art as a selling point for their condos and lofts. Says one developer: "I
don’t know that we can measure the exact competitive advantage our
commitment to art brings, but I know our
communities are viewed as top-quality, and our art is an integral part
of that fabric."

This is definitely an article you want to read–good ammunition and language for placing your art in public buildings.

Kudos to all developers who are not only "aesthetically aware" (as another one says), but who also realize that many of us are aesthetically aware and prefer to live in areas that also value the beautiful and well designed.
