The Nude in (an) Art (Museum)

by Alyson Stanfield on July 31, 2005

Is it just hype? And, if it is, does it matter at all?

The Leopold Museum in Vienna, Austria, is offering free entry into "The
Naked Truth," their current exhibit of erotic art from the early 1900s, to
anyone who shows up nude or in a bathing suit. So, the nudes in the gallery echo
those on the walls.

Wonder which ones are getting more inspection?

In the next Do This! newsletter (coming out tomorrow), I’ll be discussing
art as an event. This seems to fit right in! Stay tuned.
