Catching up with what’s going on–sort of–and I found this great article by The Blog Squad: Business Blog Savvy: Avoiding the 8 Pitfalls of Do-It-Yourself Blogging. It’s highly relevant to their business, but I hope will spur you to action with your own blog. I know I need to move on some of their suggestions.

Pretty reasonable suggestions. But what’s with #6? 6. You haven’t put any content-appropriate ads on your blog, that don’t distract from your own products. Your blog has a non-professional, non-business look and feel to it. Are they trying to say that without 3rd party ads like google adsense you look non-professional? I’m not buying this one. I know those ads generate a lot of money but I don’t think they belong on artist blogs.
