this is awesome–I tried some of the most recent headlines I used and got really good and useful feedback! the most recent headline I used on a press release got a 20% and a “spiritual” grade and since it was for a fundraiser I’m doing over the holidays at my shop that’s probably an ok thing–thanks for the heads up. I’ll be checking that out often because I write press releases for both my business and organizations I’m involved with.

Alyson, your tips are always great, and this one is worth its weight in gold. I tweaked a possible headline until I got it from an OK 50% emotional appeal to an awesome 72%. Just hope the public responds as well as the marketing people think they should. Thanks for the wonderful support.
