Bringing in 2007

by Alyson Stanfield on December 31, 2006

I hope you welcome the New Year in a way that serves you best. If it’s with a party and champagne, go for it with gusto. If it’s in front of the TV with a cup of hot cocoa, lovely. If it’s in your studio, amen.

I am in Steamboat Springs to celebrate my husband’s birthday (who had the misfortune of being born on 12/31, although I am very grateful for his birth!). And I’m grateful to have been able to get out of town with all of that extra snow we got last week. (Picture is of our kitten, Tofu, who loves the snow and is guarding the eggnog we put inChristmastofunog the snow to thicken up.)

Anyway, I’m trying to figure out how I can best start the year while on the road. I mean how will I start it mentally.

I plan to do some journaling today and tomorrow if I can get some free, alone time (thank you, coffee shops!). I want to review and renew my goals. Mostly, I want to FEEL them and BELIEVE in them.

I hit a milestone this week. The Art Marketing Action newsletter had its 4000th subscriber! And I’d like to see 3,000 more in 2007.

Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing more about goals. I hope you’ll stay tuned.

Alyson. Hey, anytime you get the urge, please post some more photos of your cat. I’m a sucker for such things.
