Alyson - I don't see a way to search your blog archives. Maybe you have that functionality and I don't see it, but either way I haven't been able to search your blog for past entries. I wanted to celebrate my past accomplishments for the year by watching some the art movies you listed earlier, but I can't find that blog post. Search is a useful feature that I use all the time. Thanks for asking and I look forward to your newly-designed website!

Sounds like a great step for your resources and offerings to artists! In general for me, a paid type membership would have to be alot about ACCESS and EFFICIENCY. Access to resources not readily available to artists that already have at least a medium level of "connectedness" to business and art resources currently available (or who are already pretty resourceful in searching for and finding good info). And I think this access would have to be backed up with lots of SPECIFIC details - so, more general art business practices would be supported with specific real-world examples (like an actual marketing plan or a step-by-step plan of action for scoring 3 art reps in 6 months). And, even increase the value by adding the details on people and places - names, contact info, guest experts you partner with, etc. I would certainly pay to gain additional efficiency in my journey to "get where I'm going" in my art business. So, if I can skip doing some (or much!) of my own research and come to your site (again with great details to back up the general), I would potentially find that worth a membership fee. Are you considering a trial period? Also, do you plan to provide a "map" that gives a clear picture of what new info/topics will be covered/added to your site, say out 6 months? As an artist, I sometimes find it hard to really rely on some coaching sites since I'm just hit with whatever they choose to throw out - I don't have a sense of a planned direction so I can actually coordinate them (the coaching sites) with my overall plan of action. Looking forward to checking it out!

Yes, Marie! The only thing I'm really "taking away" (if you want to call it that) are the newsletter archives. Everything else will just be additional stuff to what's already here.

Alyson, Will you still be offering the free salon guidelines through the Artbizcoach.com after the first of the year? I finally have some people who have commited to participate and now wonder if it will still be available.

This is very exciting Alyson. It's been so fun watching your business grow. Excellent proof you know what you are talking about. I'd add myself on to all 3 these lists for a membership: -- want one-on-one coaching calls (top of the list probably) -- want a premium edition of the Art Marketing Action newsletter -- think they would benefit from weekly “take action” reminders in their inbox Next year is the year to be a bit more proactive about the business side of things so I'm looking forward to seeing what you have to offer.

Look for it on January 2 if all goes according to plan. There, I've posted it for the world to see. Of course, nothing has gone according to plan so far, but I'm optimistic about that date!

This sounds exciting. Do you have a launch date for your redesigned site? I love PDF and audio files I can download at my convenience (as opposed to telecalls and classes at specific times).
