I picked up the book "The Worth of Art etc"
The inner workings of the hoi-poli in the art world is so very cynical. She talks about that it isn't about art anymore at that level but about money. It made me very angry and ready to shut my career down. But decided why let the manipulators win?. Life and this journey both are a gamble but so rewarding for the persistent and I don't mean money,I mean self realization. Nothing is wrong with making money doing what you love though.
