Listen up whether you’re a fine artist or craftsperson.
With new services like Zapplication and Juried Art Services, it’s harder to know how your slides will be seen. You have to be prepared for anything. Sometimes they’re projected, other times they’re on computer monitors (as with some jurying I recently participated in), while other times they’re seen remotely. Sometimes the jury discusses, sometimes not. Sometimes the jury can only see the images for a certain length of time, while other times they can look at them for as long as they like.
Bruce says that it’s best to know how your slides will be shown. But I think he’d still agree that you’ll be fine if you absolutely knock them over with amazing images.
