Alyson, thanks for the book reviews. As busy artists I think it is great to know what NOT to read. And certainly nice to know the good reads, too. I am often amazed when busy people have time to read for pleasure. As a struggling, emerging artist, it is challenging to paint, blog, meet people, facebook, myspace, and work full-time, excerise, eat right and not completely ignore my family while am at it. I am not complaining I am just trying to understand how to juggle all we have to do. Although I do feel guilty when I fall short on the family one especially, I try to take to heart what you an others in encourage us to understand - "you can't do it all." It is just a challenging balancing act which is so very common among artists. Anyhow, I really do look forward to reading "The Rescue Artist" and have it on my retirement reading list.
